HAVE A SCROLL

A-Line Skirts: The Skirt For Everyone

skirt verdict is iN!

A-line skirts are the best kind of skirts (yes for everyone)

OK REAL TALK, The universally flattering skirt that ALWAYS LOOKS SO good on everyone regardless of

height

shape

size

age

OCCASION

WEATHER CONSTRAINTS

(TRULY ANY OTHER EXCUSE YOU CAN THINK OF)

is my personal favourite-

A line skirt.

SO Why is this flattering?

The design cinches at the waist, which who doesn't love extenuating a small waist, and then effortlessly flows away from your hips and thighs (YES YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT).

The catch HOWEVER- YES THERE'S ALWAYS ONE- TO PULLING THIS SKIRT OFF IS finding the perfect length FOR YOU-

for my petite girls opt for a shorter hemline

VS.

whereas if you have legs a midi length would be more fitting.

The other thing to keep in mind is how you're pairing the skirt.

If the skirt is monocrhomatic, it would be fun to contrast against something embellished on top (think ruffles/bright colours/bold prints) to add some interest AND FLAIR to the outfit.

And same applies for the opposite...

If the skirt has heavy detailing or vibrant colouring,

it would then best be paired with a top that doesn't have as much going on.

Here in my longer A line pleated number from Maje which I paired with a simple For Love and Lemons lace bodysuit.
