R&R Skincare Edition
i end up changing up my beauty routine to reflect the weather. and with summer (even if we are coming to an end) the combination of sun, bronzed makeup application and endless glasses of rosé got me treating my skin with some extra tlc.
so here are some of my skincare favourites at current-
To start it off, I use IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup Micellar Wipes to wipe off my makeup. I love these sulfate-free micellar cleansing wipes, instant makeup removers and act simultaneously as an anti-aging serum.
I then use Vanity Planet's Glowspin with Bosnia's Purfying Cleaning Gel. Love this brush as it's two speed settings allows me to gently cleanse and exfoliate.
After cleansing I immediately grab my go to AM and PM eye cream- Drunk Elephant's C-Tango™ Multivitamin Eye Cream. Super great for brightening as its packed with eight peptides, five forms of vitamin C, and cucumber extract for firmer, stronger-looking skin around the eye area. Aside from the eye cream, I personally love Drunk Elephant products as they're all free of gluten, fragrance, essential oil, silicone, and irritants. And in addition, it is vegan and cruelty-free (yes, yes and YES).
I then opt for Burke Williams Vitamin C serum as it contains not 1, but 3, potent forms of vitamin c. Vitamin C is awesome and so necessary as it helps stimulate collagen which we love for firm skin and to lighten all those pesky dark spots.
Next is Boscia's Sake Serum which I only recently started using however love as it is extremely soothing and has reduced my level of redness (the power of sake). Also packed with caffeine and sea algae to further soothe skin by blocking inflammation from external irritants.
Last but not least is to moisturise. And Boscia's latest ultra-lightweight cactus moisturizer is something that I absolutely love (and frequently catch my boyfriend using as well). Extremely fast-absorbing solution for all skin types which massively helps improve moisture levels without the weight of a heavy cream- because no one has time for that.
Good skin comes naturally because in my world-
beauty really should only consist of those only good-for-you ingredients.
Finding those products specifically for your skin is only part of the fun. Seeing the amazing results is the other half of the fun.
